Oral Capsule

  • BMI between 19-29.9 kg.m2
  • Not using any prescribed or over the counter medication/supplements
  • 8 night confinement, 8 follow-up visits over a 6 week period

Malaria Study

Eligibility requirements:

  • Healthy Male and Females
  • Aged 18 - 55
  • BMI between 18 – 32 kg/m2
  • Must be non or light smoker
  • Must not have had Malaria before
  • Must not be taking any prescription or over-the-counter medication

  • Able to swallow multiple capsules

QP17C21 - Parkinson's Disease Study

  • Be aged between 40-80 years
  • Be diagnosed with Idiopathic PD with Modified Hoehn & Yahr (H&Y) Stage I-III
  • Currently be taking L-Dopa containing medication
  • Prone to OFF episodes
  • On stable medication for a minimum of 30 days
  • 4 day visits

Please note all trials are conducted at our clinics located in the Clive Berghofer Cancer Research Centre, Level 5, 300C Herston Road HERSTON QLD 4006.

All studies at Q-Pharm are conducted under Australian and International guidelines for medical research under the approval of a registered  Human Research Ethics Committee that complies with the strict guidelines as set by the National Health and Medical Research Council. Participation in a trial is dependent on fulfilment of trial specific criteria and overseas visitors require appropriate visas for trial participation.
